Quiet Elegance

The spacious parlour is well appointed with plush upholstered seating, unusual antiques, and original artwork and ceramics. A peaceful room in which to enjoy the company of friends or relax in quiet contemplation by the fireside. Hidden in a discrete cabinet made from the original interior shutters is a media center, and over 100 videos and DVDs of various venues are available for your viewing. Or just sit back and enjoy the artistic, naturally inspired vignettes that encompass the room.

The Hartzell House library is a small but stately room with floor to ceiling bookcases that house a mix of vintage reading and more contemporary selections. The cabinets are well stocked with games for all ages, and the center table is perfect for cards, Scrabble, or spreading out the daily news with your morning coffee. Computer access and wireless internet are available daily for your use until 11pm, and basic office supplies are at your fingertips.
