Sometimes we like to sheild our young from the unpleasant realities of life.
I am thinking that is what happened to this history lesson about young George Washington, the Father of our Country.
How many of you know that George, then just 22 years young, ambushed a party of groggy and sleeping French and Indian scouts in a little glen in SW Pennsylvania, and subsequently signed a confession stating that he was an assasin? And that the only reason he was not hung on the spot was because of some faulty intellegence? Didn't know that? Me neither.
Do you know a RR buff? Have them mark their calendars!
