Comments: The innkeepers are real gems, the location is quiet and near lots of activities, the rooms and public spaces are spacious and interesting. They are still renovating the dining room and exterior, but that did not detract from our stay, and the inn will only get better. Plus, the innkeepers are environmentally conscious, an added bonus that makes me feel better about staying there.

Comments: The Hartzell house is a beautiful and warm place to visit. Kitty and David were friendly and took care of our every need. Breakfast was outstanding. Evening wine and deserts were a bonus. We were pampered and treated like honored guests.

Comments: The Hartzell House B&B is lovely and inviting. The hosts, Kitty and David were so hospitable. The breakfast was better than the finest restaurant. It was not the usual fare -- they put thought into both the menu and presentation. The house has interesting painting techniques on the walls which make it surely one-of-a-kind. A very quiet street makes it an all-around relaxing and cozy place to stay.

Comments: This was the best get away! Being parents of two young children we need some alone and relaxing time, and we found it here at the Hartzell House. David and Kitty were wonderful. The first night there they offered to make us dinner, so we could relax and not worry about driving anywhere. What a bonus! The service and hospitality was over the top and the decore was beautiful. The location was perfect. Close to an outdoor mecca, beautiful and serene. A Wonderful and relaxing get away.

Kitty and Dave were the perfect blend of friendliness and hospitality while also providing privacy. A beautiful old house remodeled in keeping with the original style. Close to skiing, rafting, hiking..
