Nesting with Chef Z
Date: April 21, 22, 23, 2008
Private Chef Suzan “Z” Gray and innkeeper Kitty Stemac of Hartzell House B&B share a love of birds and their nesting habits, and have brought it all together to create a special event de cuisine just for you.
Begin your experience on Monday night with a ‘Get Acquainted Appetizer and Wine-Parley Party’. Meet and greet one another in the elegant Hartzell House parlor, while enjoying unique and scrumptious appetizers created especially for you by Chef Z. Next as a means of dispelling the belief that wine is only for experts, spend a little time tasting area wines and reviewing wine etiquette with Chef Z !
Continue the experience on Tuesday morning with a custom created Bird’s Nest Buffet Breakfast in the beautiful Hartzell House Dining Room, then spend the rest of the day your way, perhaps at nearby Nemacolin Spa, FallingWater, or Kentuck Knob. At 5pm, rendezvous back at the B&B for a 2 hour culinary class with Chef Z, resulting in a glorious 5-course seated dinner.
Wednesday morning, enjoy the grand finale of your extravaganza with a 3 course served Brunch in the Dining Room, customized to the Bird’s Nest theme once again.
A professionally-created, informative take-home folder with recipes, culinary tips and information, and a custom imprinted apron from Hartzell House will be our gift to you upon your departure.
The cost is $760 per room for two people for the entire three-day event.
